Wojciech Pszczolarski took 6th place in the points race at the European Track Cycling Championships. The gold medal was won by Portugal's Iuri Leitao, who dominated the competition in Heusden-Zolder.

A solid performance by Wojtek

Wojciech Pszczolarski showed good form from the beginning of the points race and actively participated in the competition. The Pole scored points in several intermediate finishes, but ultimately failed to win a place on the podium.

The best was Portuguese Iuri Leitao, who reached for the gold medal thanks to his effective riding and strategic use of sprints.

Pszczolarski's form before the next starts

Although 6th place did not result in a medal, Pszczolarski's result confirms his high disposition and readiness to fight in future starts, the Pole has been one of Europe's leading specialists in races on the track for years and has, among others, a gold medal from the 2015 and 2018 European Championships.
